We need to do something right here, right now. What will become if we don’t do something about what’s happening right now? Our CG? Our friends? Ourselves! What will become of the next generation? Will we choose to do something and put a stop to it? Will we stop being part of the world and start growing once again? I don’t know what will you do, but it’s a choice to be made.

God died for us on the cross.
We should be people that shines His light.
There is no reason to hide anymore, we are the redeemed, let us not be ashamed and do well in our studies for God.
Still remember how you were when you was a child?
Nothing is impossible, so lets do our best and have faith in god that He will bless us.
Lets choose to lift God’s name higher.
If we are afraid or have no confidence, lets remember that our God is powerful and nothing is impossible.
So have confidence, not on ourselves, but on God’s power.
Lets lift God’s name higher and remember your child-like faith that nothing is impossible.
Thus, Lets continue to do our best in our studies.

Yesterday went to Seoul Garden with Zhicheng, JunJie, Alvin, Melvin, Anthony, Minghui, Rebecca, Zhen le, LinSheng
It is really great meeting up with old friends and have fun together.
haha! we went to seoul garden to celebrate the end of prelims
Hopefully when it is the end of O level’s , lets go somewhere to celebrate again!
and of course, get more people along too

This drink is called… 7 UP FLOAT!!! haha! because there is 3 scoop of vanilla ice cream in it with the combination of 7 up It is really nice. you guys should try it out

the egg that rebecca boiled boil halfway, Minghui and JunJie said its cooked. haha! took out and its halfway cooked only.. so, we place it back into the pot when the egg have a hole on it haha! and it turned out like this

Love was never painless

Love was never alone, pain comes with it, but after that comes joy. It was the same for Jesus.

Matthew 27:40
⁴⁰and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”

Who of us don’t know that our God is almighty and He can surely save Himself if He wanted. However the fact is that He chose to die for us. It was a great sacrifice made, in fact, it was the greatest sacrifice we ever know of. It was a decision He made, to give up Himself, for the sake of the ones He loved, us, people.
And further on it says in verse 43..

⁴³He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ “

Surely, Jesus struggled at first, but He overcame and chose to die for us, even if it was painful and He will be dying for something that He had not done wrong. In the same way, in whatever we do, don’t worry, trust in God. He will guide us and let us struggle and overcome the struggles.
Love and sacrificing is always a choice, so does commitment.

… that you don’t go to find meaning in life, you bring meaning to your life.

Meaning isn’t something out there waiting for you to discover. The meaning of your life is what you infuse it with – beauty or ugliness, happiness or sadness. It is totally your choice, and God wants it to be your choice because God gave you free will.

God gave us a choice to do things, so which will we choose? Whatever we do, there will definitely be different paths. Will it be for God? Or against God?

Couldn’t find the video for it, but it is still something that has touched my heart..
Before we come to know God, we will never imagine who we are now, and where we are now. However, the fact is that Jesus died on the cross for us, and this is why we are here. That decision of His, to die for us, will always be inside of our hearts. God doesn’t care how we were in the past, or what wrongs we did in the past. He is just glad now that, we’ve decided to place him first in our lives, so if we haven’t, why not start now? Be desperate, desperate for God, for Him to change our lives, the one around you, your family, your friends, everyone! All we need is God, but is that what we want? It’s a choice for us, to want God, or just dump Him aside, the freedom to love Him back, or just indulge ourselves in the world. When things are down, remember God’s love for us, how He died for us, how much He is willing to just, save us. Will we be thankful for God’s sacrifice and remember it? Will we choose to be loyal to Him? Do we remember how and why our lives changed? How we came to know the people around us? How God has changed our lives? Are we just going to put God aside after He has changed us? The decision is for us to make.

It just reminds me of this thing from the Bible..

Matthew 8:23-27
Jesus Calms the Storm²³Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. ²⁴Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. ²⁵The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”²⁶He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.²⁷The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

Let us not be afraid by anything that is coming towards us, be it persecutions, discouragements or anything. We have to know that God is in control, and we are safe in God’s hands. Take faith, move on together with God, for He is the almighty God that can help us, that can make our paths straight. From the verses, since it was a furious storm, it would definitely wake Jesus up, but He was still sleeping. This is just Him testing his disciples’ faith in Jesus. And in the same way, take refuge in Him, have faith and trust Him. Choose to serve God, even through the lowest pit. Our lives will not be a smooth sailing one, but with God, we can go through it easier than being alone. There are ups and downs in our life, but will we make a decision and continue to serve God with our best, with our all?

Ask, Seek, Knock

Matthew 7:7
Ask, Seek, Knock⁷“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. ⁸For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

This is one of the few promises that God has given us, so why not lets just do it? Are we worried about our studies? Let’s just ask God for wisdom, understandings, so that we can do well, not for our own glory, but for God’s. Are we so busy in our lives that we seldom talk to God now? Is He just another thing in our lives? Let’s take initiative to seek Him, for He will definitely be there for us. Sometimes when we pray, our prayers are not being fulfilled, and we may think why and give up. However, lets not do it, the Bible says to knock, knock onto God’s door, then He will bless you. We have to truly desire it, and one way to prove that is to keep praying, keep knocking onto God’s door, for Him to answer your prayers. Many Christians walk away too soon from their prayers altars with the Lord. They ask the Lord once or twice for whatever it is they are wanting from Him and when He doesn’t answer their prayer off of their initial request, they walk away thinking that He doesn’t want to answer their prayers, not realising that maybe the Lord was really wanting to answer their prayer in the first place, but that He was wanting them to desire more, to pray even more, to get Him to release it to them. So let’s not stop praying, or start giving up.The best solution to every kind of circumstances is to Pray, and Keep Praying.

As said during the sermon, wine represents blessings, blessings from God. And this thing just kept me wondering..
John 2:1-11
Jesus Changes Water to Wine¹On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, ²and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. ³When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”⁴“Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied, “My time has not yet come.”⁵His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”⁶Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.⁷Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.⁸Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”They did so, ⁹and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside ¹⁰and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”¹¹This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.

Doesn’t this just proves that God can turn our everyday lives into blessings, in whatever we do into something that He can bless us? But at the same time, if the servants did not follow what Jesus told them to do, the water wouldn’t turn into wine. In the same way, we have to first trust and believe in God, following what he tells us to do, then He can bless us. Therefore, let’s put our faith in God, realise and count how God has blessed us everyday.
